It was a hazy day, as smoke from the
Canadian wildfires settled over Ohio.
Temperatures were pleasant for June, but the thick grey haze was the
predominant feature of the day. In the
past month in Quebec alone, an area nearly the size of Connecticut has burned,
resulting in periodic episodes of very unhealthy air quality across much of the
US Midwest and Northeast as well as large areas of Ontario and Quebec.
