An all-night rain changed to drizzle then
vanished completely as orienteers began to arrive. Temperatures around 60 and calm winds were
reasonably pleasant, although conditions in the forest remained quite wet and
quite slippery. Light rain began to
return just before 4 pm, as the last of the controls were picked up and being
packed away. Attendance was a bit lower
than normal due to the wet conditions and foreboding skies, but a good time was
had by those who attended. All the help
with control pickup was greatly appreciated!
