Pickup
Cold was the order of the
day. Temperatures had not reached
anywhere near thawing since more than a foot of snow fell almost a week
earlier. The snow was still there,
drifted in places with huge plow-piles along roads and parking lots. The day dawned well below zero, and might
have climbed into the teens, but with just enough gentle breeze from the north
to keep it feeling like single digits.
Kudos to the brave few who ventured out on todays course, and
accomplished that rare feat of not a single mis-punch (although I think that at
least one person did have to run back to punch their correct penultimate).
