QCARS 8, Sawyer Point, Starts to be announced 2 short courses are offered at each QCARS event. Regular QCARS start times 10-11:30. There is an afternoon Cincinnati Reds game, so parking options may be limited and most lots will have Game Day pricing (you might beat it if you are early). There is free parking along East Pete Rose Way from about I-471 continuing east past the mOntgomery Inn Boathouse

Purchase a QCARS season pass! Season pass (includes all QCARS events, plus bonus events) is just $30 for OCIN members and $45 for non-members! Entry to individual QCARS events is $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Your best 3 QCARS events count for season awards.
Look for the start and check-in in the area between the Procter and Gamble Pavilion and the Cincinnatus Statue under the Purple People Bridge
QCARS Season Awards will follow the orienteering. The OCIN Annual Meeting and Election will follow awards, at the Hoffbrauhaus just across the river in Newport, KY (walk across the Purple People Bridge or drive to Newport).

OCIN's northern Indiana chapter organizes this annual event. This will have several short courses, in a 2-person relay format (Hokum Karem) with a mass start at 10:00 am from the Fragomeni Shelter. Teams: Male, Female, Mixed.

Sat, September 10, 2022 East Fork, Indian Mound Shelter
Full range of courses from white thru red, for all ages. This event will include a special competition for JROTC cadets. Starts are open from 10 am to 1 pm. Control pickup begins at 3 pm.

late October 2022 MetroParks of Butler County
OCIN's annual Halloween Orienteering Courses in cooperation with MetroParks of Butler County. Range of courses, suitable for all ages. We are offering white (beginner), yellow (intermediate), orange (advanced), green (expert) courses for this event. Locations and details coming soon.
We will also offer the Trail of Treats: a short, easy course for kids, with a choice of candy or a toy at the finish. Trail of Treats course is $4 per child; regular OCIN fees ($10 members, $15 non-members) for the other courses.
Sat, Nov 5, 2022 Twisted Run V, Centennial Park, Plymouth, Indiana
OCIN's South Bend chapter brings back the annual Twisted Run. Easy (white to yellow level difficulty) navigation (long 6.4 km and short 3.7 km versions) with a mass start at 11 am. A few navigation decisions will give navigators the chance to outsmart the speedsters. Mass start at 11 am.
This will be a fundraiser for the Orienteering USA Junior National Team, with all proceeds going to the national team.
Pre-registration price is $25 for adults age 19+; $15 for kids 13-18, $5 for kids 7-12, and free for kids 6 and under.
