    Season passes give

TROL (Tristate Regional Orienteering League) pass is for students in grade 12 and younger.  Students (including home school) should purchase a TROL pass even if they plan to run adult level WARS courses.  The TROL season pass includes a year of membership in OCIN and OUSA.  Register now for your 
2025-2026 TROL season pass (students in high school or younger) 
    WARS (Winter Adventure Running Series) is for adults who are above high school age.  Event rankings are based on age.  You may also purchase or renew an OCIN annual membership with your WARS pass.  Register now for your

    TENTATIVE - Full range of courses from white thru red, for all ages.  This event will include a special competition for JROTC cadets.  (Co-sponsored by Live Oaks JROTC).  Starts are open from 10 am to 1 pm.  Control pickup begins at 3 pm.

    Free map and compass instruction for beginners.  Event fee is $10 for Orienteering Cincinnati members, $15 for non-members for groups of 1 to 5 doing a course together.  $5 for Youth under 18.    Starts are open from 11 am to 1 pm.

     Organized by Miami Valley Orienteering Club (MVOC) and Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC).  MASS START at 12 Noon, 2 hour score-style course (go in any order, get as many as you can within 2 hours, controls have varying point values, you lose points if you are out over 2 hours).

Saturday, November 29, 2025     TROL Training Day. Oxford, OH
    Sat, Nov 29 will be a youth training day program at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio (meet at the Richard Farmer School of Business in East Quad).  Program starts at 9 am and will end about 5:30 pm.  Lunch sandwiches, snacks, and pizza dinner included.  This program altrenates classroom instruction with several outdoor courses and activities, starting at a beginner level and becoming prgressively more advanced and challenging throughout the day.  Dress for the weather!
    TROL Training day will be at Richard Farmer School of Business, Miami University (East Quad), Oxford, OH.  GPS: 39.511083, -84.729775.  Pre-registrants will receive instructions to obtain a FREE Miami Univ Parking Permit.  Note that there is a home football game in the afternoon, so parking will be enforced.   Football traffic should not affect access to our area.

Embargo At this time, all parts of Mounds State Recreation Area are embargoed for orienteering events and training, except you may use the campground and beach.  You may drive the paved park roads to access the campgrounds, beach and boat ramps.
    
Embargo At this time, all parts of Hueston Woods State Park are embargoed for orienteering events and training, except you may use the campground, golf course, marina, beach, lodge, and cabins.  You may drive the paved park roads to access the non-embargoed facilities.  Please note that the mountain bike, equestrian, and disc golf facilities are embargoed and may not be used prior to the event on April 10.
